Collaboration
Thursday, June 25, 2015 5:15 AMCollaborating on projects is a huge challenge in a team. Everybody has it's preferences on how they work, in which order they do stuff and how to communicate with others. To streamline this and lower the challenge a little bit, we have to commit to some rules and tools.
Some tools and a proper workflow can help to work together without loosing your individual way to work. I chose to work with Git as the tool for source code management and version control. Instead of just stick to some git basics I started to follow the Git-Flow workflow. In order to understand the follow chapters you should at least have an understanding for the Basics of Git and a fundamental knowledge of how Git Branching works.
A way to start learning Git is of course the official Git documentation, but a more visual and low-level entrance to this topic is the amazing documentation of Tower and their courses on how to work with git.
